Ø 17.3cm / H: 4.8 cm
Hand painted bowl with olive branches.

This shape is traditionally used for hummus but of course it suitable to serve other things such as side personal salad, pudding or crisps.

Crafted by a women-led ceramic studio in the tiny Palestinian village of Nisf Jubeil. This item is part of the Zaytoun Collection (Olive Branch collection) that pays tribute to the picturesque surrounding hills and the village's famous olive groves.

Nisf Jubeil Ceramics is a ceramics project established in 2015 by the Mosaic Centre Jericho. The project aims to revive the cultural heritage of Nisf Jubeil and position it as a destination on the tourism map of Palestine.

A group of skilled female artisans from the village run the studio, creating ceramic products that draw inspiration from Palestinian culture and heritage, while imbuing them with their own unique touch. The income generated from these handcrafted pieces allows the women to support themselves and their families.

Nisf Jubeil / نصف جبيل is a small village with a population of around 500, situated north west of Nablus in the West Bank, Palestine.
